I first started using this nickname when I was doing a lot of development work for Psion (remember them?) handheld devices. Even though I’ve long since stopped development for that platform, the name has stuck.

So, what do I do? I’m an IT Consultant, specialising in .Net development (Winforms and Web), database (mostly SQL Server, but a fair bit of MySQL) and CMS development (Wordpress, Movable Type, Joomla etc).

In my spare time (when I have any!), I enjoy photography, motorcycling (I currently own a 2006 Triumph Tiger), chess (catch me on Gameknot, username Psionmark) and Flight Simulation (some would say it’s an obsession).

I’ve used the nickname Psionmark for more years than I care to remember, so I thought I’d put this blog together so people know who I am and what I do.

I run a number of other blogs on specific topics, but this’ll be my personal one for my ramblings etc.
